The Calver Weir Restoration Project has been researching the legacy of the weir and mill through an oral history project. | Ray worked at Calver Mill during the time it was owned by Sissons, who made stainless steel products. Ray was employed by Sissons from the 1960s until his retirement in 1994, working his way up through the company to Sales Director. Here, Ray talks passionately about his time at Sissons, some of the exciting contracts he won, the products they made and how the mill was used. |
